Students will be able to create a art portfolio in order to create a place to store and maintain their artwork throughout the quarter.
Draw your name in the middle of the portfolio using a lettering style that has substance and width. For example- Bubble letters, Block letters, Graffiti letters (see picture above). The name must be in the middle of the portfolio and be as big or bigger than the names in the examples (Mr. Hall's or Jose's portfolios).
After you have drawn your name, write your MOD in one of the top corners in Block letters & numbers.
Select three categories about yourself and find images/drawings that represent these categories. There should be no words used to describe the categories.
Example- Juan likes skateboarding so Juan draws a picture of his favorite skateboard and some skateboarding equipment logos.
Example- Jennifer likes astronomy and she has drawn a telescope and the constellation, the Big Dipper.
Example- Glenn likes sports and has drawn the logo of his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys.
There must be drawings/images for three (3) categories. The students may use more than one drawing/image for each category.
Once again, there should be no writing on the portfolio other than the name and MOD. If the logo or image includes writing in it, then please check with Mr. Hall and see if it is appropriate. If the category doesn't have a logo, create an image that would represent the category clearly.
Please be sure to read the rubric in order to make sure you have included all of the elements needed for a 4-point project-
Name is written in LARGE print.
MOD is written on portfolio.
3 or more descriptive drawings are included for 3 or more categories.
